Website Design - Where do we start?

WEBSITE TEXT

All the text on the website is the responsibility of the client. The text should be submitted as a word document with titles to explain which text goes in which area. Zammer Web Design may ask if we can edit the text so it will fit within the web page.

We do offer a copy writing service but it is extra to the quoted price for the website. This is produced by a third party and is quoted per individual job.

IMAGES

All images on the site will be provided by the client. Zammer Web Design will discuss your requirements for images but it will be up to the client to find the images.

Zammer Web Design has an account with www.istockphotos.com where you can find 1000's of stock images suitable for your site. After our initial meeting, where we will discuss image requirements, we will ask you to look through istockphotos for images for your site.

Zammer Web Design will look for images for the client but this will be charged extra to the quoted price for the website.

COMPANY LOGO

Clients are asked to provide the company logo as a computer file. Prefered file formats are an Illustrator file (.ai), a photoshop file (.psd), Jpeg file (.jpg), Ping file (.png).

Zammer Web Design will design you a company logo if necessary  but this will be at extra cost to the quoted price for the website.

WEB ADDRESS

Clients are asked to provide the web address for the proposed website.

If the client would like to purchase the web address themselves they can do from www.zammer-host.co.uk or they can ask us and we will do it for them.

If  you  have already purchased the web address we need all the information sent to you when you purchased. This will generally include:

• Domain Registrant or Hosting Company (This is who you bought your website off)
• Account Username
• Account Password
• FTP Address (you will only have this if you have bought hosting with your domain)
• FTP Username (you will only have this if you have bought hosting with your domain)
• FTP Password (you will only have this if you have bought hosting with your domain)
